Be diligent to present yourself approved to God...2 Tim 2:15
We recognize the importance of accountability and encouragement from fellow believers. Our group of young women meet together in an effort to build up and support each other in our daily Christian walk and encourage one another to share our faith.
January 26,2008 Take the Romans challenge! If you write out the entire book of Romans (I don't care how long it takes you), I will buy you a brand new MacArthur Study Bible. Click here to find out more about this wonderful Bible.
December 29, 2007 Save the date:On February 2, 2008 we will be hosting a one day crash course evangelism class at Church of the Redeemer. From 12:30pm-5:00pm we will be learning the biblical way of sharing our faith the way Jesus did. *See flyer for more details or send me a message. I really want all of us to be there.
December 19, 2007 We again have the opportunity to serve through Angel Tree this year. Saturday Dec 22th is the actual event from11:30-am-2:30, but if you can come early, around 10:15. On Friday the 21st is the setup night (from 6pm-??) where we will be wrapping gifts and decorating. If you could help out on both days, that would be wonderful. December 11, 2007 We had our last meeting of the year last night. We will resume on January 7th. Starting on the 7th we will only be covering one chapter each meeting. Please take the time off to catch up on your reading and be ready to go over chapter 5 on January 7th. December 10, 2007 I think we need to revert back to the reading schedule we've used with our previous books: one chapter per meeting. I know that means it will take us longer to get through our book, but we'll be able to devote more time to each chapter. I understand that it has been a bit much for everyone to try and read two chapters between meetings, and answer two sets of questions, and learn two memory verses on top of all the homework/extracurricular activities that everyone has. I've been feeling rushed by trying to squeeze in two lessons into the 1 1/2 hours we have together, so I think this change will be better all around. If you guys have any thoughts or objections, let me know. Otherwise we will implement this new reading schedule for our first meeting in January (Jan 7th) when we begin looking at each of the Ten Commandments in turn. Also, I understand that everyone's schedule's can fluctuate from week to week, and there will be times when its all you can do to remember to put your shoes on the right feet. When that happens, don't beat yourself up. And please still come :) If you want to let me know by email or a private word that you've had one of those weeks, I'll be sure not to single you out for a question. No big deal. Our new (slower and more thorough) pace will enable those of us who didn't get time to go through the chapter prior to our meeting to still absorb the content of the chapter with all of us. December 9, 2007 Make sure you read Ch 3 & 4 for Monday. Don't forget to answer the questions and learn the memory verses for each chapter. November 18, 2007 Read Ch. 1 & 2 for Monday. Answer the questions from each chapter and the memory verses.

O My Saviour,
Help me.
I am slow to learn,
so prone to forget,
so weak to climb;
I am in the foothills when I should be
on the heights;
I am pained by my graceless heart,
my prayerless days,
my poverty of love,
my sloth in the heavenly race,
my sullied conscience,
my wasted hours,
my unspent opportunities.
I am blind while light shines around me
